Pros and cons of Fly Tyer ~ Step by Step Fly Tying Patterns app for iPhone and iPad

Fly Tyer ~ Step by Step Fly Tying Patterns app good for

This is a good start for any beginner fly maker. It could use a little more clarity in the instructions, but most will be able to figure out these flies.
Great for the new people ! Would like to see the premium slightly cheaper though, other than that such a great app
Out of all the others I looked at this is the best of them all
This is an awesome app I have been really excited to learn how to tye flys but the only downside is that the full version is $4.99
Really usefull. I used it a lot at my beginninsg but still consult sometimes even now.
Very good fly patterns, but with some videos insted of the picthres could be better. The full version is too expensive

Some bad moments

When you take into consideration that YouTube is FREE and has 1000s of patterns, this app provides far too few patterns to be worth its price tag. The instructions are vague and I fear that the average beginner will have a hard time following along. And, please understand that fly tying is an art and as such, we all have different opinions on how our flies should look when finished. That said, there are some flies in this app that just dont look "right" to me because they arent tied the way Ive always tied them. Will they still catch fish? Sure. Will they catch more fish than a traditionally tied version? Maybe, maybe not. What I do know is that this app needs serious improvement before I will consider using it again.
It looks like a fantastic app, but I cant use it. It crashes on startup every time.
As someone who has just gotten into fly fishing I find it very informative even though I have not started tying my own flys. I am beginning to become more interested in tying so will more than likely buy the full version once I have supplies. Thanks!
Not even close to any good patterns or any amount for the price.
The only thing I would ask for would be a larger selection, but the ones here are all good ones
I like the ad but hate the constant ads and pop- ups. Very annoying.
